Increase Your Blogging Advantage

Sunday, November 5th, 2006

Writing a blog entry is fun. Blogitive makes it easy to make money by blogging. Your blog has to be approved which is pretty easy, a Paypal account set up (since payments are made directly to the account), and that is it. We have been doing it for several weeks without a hitch. One advantage is that my writing skills and thought process have improved.

New services, such as ghost writing and NewsNerve, are being offered to increase the scope of blogging for bling. Ghost writing is attractive since a blog is not necessary – only your writing skills. An assignment is given from a client and the final work is reviewed for approval.

Silver

Monday, October 23rd, 2006
Silver has been a hedge against inflation. Who can’t forget the silver dollars clanging in the slot machines in Vegas. Silver and gold coins have bought the passage to safety where other forms of money have failed. Many financial planners have recommended precious metals such as silver as part of an overall portfolio. Consider purchasing some silver, whether it be bullion or coins such as American Eagles for an adjunct to long-term financial security.

Higher Education

Monday, October 9th, 2006

We at dougthecooks believe in higher education. A convenient way is to take online courses which I have done for many years. It is just the thing for a busy life because you fit school around your schedule. Just the plain fact that you have a degree not only raises self esteem but gives employers another reason to hire you. An mba or undergraduate degree from an accredited school will open many new doors…it did for me.

A New Type of Search Engine Optimization

Monday, September 18th, 2006

A new type of search engine optimization is in the wings from Google. It is searching with accessibility in mind. What does this mean? Websites will not only be rated on content but accessibility as well. Companies like US Web, have established themselves as leaders in helping webmasters make their sites WAG and 508 (both web accessible guidelines) compatible.
Though only in beta we believe that Google’s search will soon include accessibility as part of their ranking algorithm so think about this as a web site is designed.
